INTERIOR FEATURES

The slate-tiled entry foyer is on the first of three full levels. The lowest level consists of the guest bedroom and bath, the master suite fills the middle level, and the main living spaces take up the top level.
Stow your coat in the foyer’s pine sliding-doored entry closet and head up two flights of carpeted stairs to the home’s top floor.
On entering the living room, you are greeted by a wall of windows overlooking the slopes of Fanny Hill, the new Base Village and all the way down Brush Creek Valley. You are stunned by the most precipitous of ceilings—easily thirty feet high at roof’s peak.
The living room is finished in pine and furnishings of forest green. The décor consisting of complementary patterns in plaid and paisley. Art with southwestern and wildlife themes add interest.
A love seat and convertible couch—which opens to reveal a queen-size hide-a-bed—are paired with a comfortable arm chair and wood rocker.
The large pine entertainment hutch features media storage with a Sony TV, Sony DVD player and Sony stereo on the interior.
Two pine-framed glass sliding doors lead out to the deck overlooking Fanny Hill and the valley.
The room features a single-doored closet, carpeted floors, track lighting, and vertical blinds.
A large brick-surround, free-standing woodburning fireplace separates the living room from the dining area. A slate tile hearth is paired with an oak mantle the perfect size for holding family photos.
An oak table—with high-backed dining chairs for eight—anchors the dining area beneath a single brass pendant light fixture.
The dining area is connected to the smartly remodeled kitchen by a bar area with two black barstools.
The slab granite counters and backsplash in the kitchen provided the inspiration for the room’s color palette: the walls are a muted salmon color, the floors are slate in browns and grays.
The upgraded cabinetry is distressed maple with Euro-contemporary brushed chrome hardware.
Two windows above the large, undermounted Franke stainless sink with Kohler pull-spray faucet provide sunlight and aspen-filled views.
The kitchen appliances include a wood-paneled Amana refrigerator with bottom freezer, KitchenAid Superba stainless dishwasher, KitchenAid Superba oven/convection oven combo, KitchenAid ceramic glass stovetop, and stainless Amana Radarange. A full assortment of countertop appliances ensure that you won’t be without your morning coffee or evening margarita.
The carpeted main-level powder room is painted a deep cobalt blue. The single oak vanity features a Kohler sink in cream porcelain. A folding-door closet opens to reveal a Frigidaire stacked washer and dryer.
Moving back downstairs one level, you enter the expansive master suite. Three large windows, equipped with cellular shades, open the room to views of Fanny Hill, the new Base Village, and the Rim Trail.
A cozy quilt covers the king-size bed, and the carpeted room’s other furnishings in light-stained pine, include a large dresser, a tall chest of drawers, and two bedside tables. Southwest-inspired art and an RCA TV and VCR complete the room.
The master bath has a petite walk-in closet on the left and a single-doored closet on the right.
Forest green walls and two-inch cream floor tile are matched with a double oak vanity with cream Kohler sinks. A deep and decadent whirlpool jetted tub is paired with a full steam shower.
On the bottom level, the spacious guest suite has its own separate entrance. A small patio looks out over terraced flowering hedges and aspen trees.
The bedroom has two twin beds and a country theme with distressed pine furnishings. A Sanyo TV and VCR reside atop a tall chest of drawers. A wood rocker beckons from the corner.
The guest bedroom is floored in beige carpet and also features three closets and three windows with cellular shades.
The en-suite guest bath has two-inch cream floor tile, single oak vanity with cream Kohler sink, and a cream Kohler shower/tub.
