A candelabra chandelier with wrought iron scrolls and gold detailing illuminates the dining area, which includes a rustic wood table with seating for six in comfortably elegant upholstered armchairs.
The centerpiece of the kitchen is an asymetric, curved center island of solid black granite surrounded by upholstered chairs to seat five. Three modern pendant lighting fixtures in painted metal and frosted glass illuminate the expanse of granite.
The kitchen is replete with cherry cabinetry with copper hardware. The countertops and backsplash are in black granite tile. A small stone detail strip accents the backsplash and frames the large mural tile behind the stovetop. Under-cabinet lighting illuminates the workspaces.
The kitchen’s appliances are a delight and include a Thermador professional gas range with matching ventilation hood, KitchenAid Superba side-by-side wood-paneled refrigerator, Asko dishwasher, Sharp carousel microwave, Krups coffeemaker, and Black and Decker toaster oven.
The Kohler double-basin, flush-mount porcelain sink features upgrades such as a faucet with pullout spray head and a separate steaming hot water spigot.

The second bedroom is a story in the making. The hand-crafted furnishings are made of century-old reclaimed wood. The rough-hewn wood, embossed metal panels, copper and mica light fixture, and damask-patterned wallpaper—covering even the light switch—hearken back to the Old West.
The queen bed is a lofty perch from which to watch birds nesting in the backyard woods, or watch the JVC television housed in the armoire.
The bath, with a tub/shower, is again finished in off-white Kohler fixtures, modern Kohler hardware, recessed lighting, mica sconces, and tan tile with black accents. Even the mirror is addressed with care—with an intricately carved, metal finish frame makes your morning routine a work of art.
The third bedroom, with a king-size, iron canopy bed, offers a brilliant view across the Brush Creek Valley.
The inviting bed is flanked by an ornate marble-topped bedside table with an elaborately carved wood base. The matching wardrobe is finished in the same style—even the wooden door hardware is carved. A JVC television is cleverly concealed within the wardrobe.
The bathroom is spacious and special. The 18” tan floor tiles are diagonally set, and both the double vanity and the oversized shower feature black and white diagonal tile detail. Deep Kohler sinks have subtle concentric design lines in the basin. The vanity hardware and towel holders are in brushed and bright chrome.
The separate commode room has views of aspens and distant hillsides.
At the end of the hall, the master suite beckons with fabulous mountain views outside of the enormous vaulted picture window.
Lavish and welcoming, the room offers a king-size sleigh bed and an enticing chaise lounge. A hand-painted screen alive with lions and elephants and giraffes – oh my. A ceiling fan lazily stirs the air from the lofty vaulted ceilings. Furnishings are rounded out with marble-topped nightstands with individual reading lamps, and dark-stained wood furniture, and a JVC TV.
The walk-in master closet is simply heavenly, right down to the Plexiglas-fronted drawers. Add the convenience of a full-size, stacked Maytag Neptune washer and dryer right in your closet—divine.
The master bath is a masterpiece. The room is extravagant in detail, brimming with distinction.
A gigantic whirlpool jetted tub sits below an incomparably vast vaulted picture window looking out over your own very private woodland world. The antique feel of side-mounted Kohler faucet and handshower is matched by the nostalgia of the cut glass and beading of the sconces flanking the tub.
A large glass-doored shower offers not only a standard showerhead, but also a ceiling-mounted “rain” showerhead to drench you in luxury.
So many details. Astounding details, from each light fixture’s copper patina, cut glass, gold and beaded lampshades, to the dramatically unique tile accents.
Two vanities are separated by a freestanding linen closet. Each vanity has an oblong sculpted Kohler sink, delicate Kohler faucets, ornately framed mirror, two sconces and a lighted magnifying mirror.

Tucked behind a unique hand-painted screen, a tiled exercise area at the back of the office contains a Life Fitness treadmill, a massage table, a bench and free-weight set. A flatscreen Sylvania television mounted above the treadmill will surely keep you moving.
The exercise area also has its own bath with full steam room and shower. From the shine on the meticulous white tile in the spacious steam room to the aspen leaf flourish on the wrought iron towel racks and robe hooks, every detail has been addressed.
Walk down the marble-tiled hallway, descend two steps, and you’ll find the showpiece of the lower level, the home theater. Enter through double doors, the middle two of four leaded glass panels mirroring those of the office.
