INTERIOR
FEATURES
The fourteen condominiums available in the Hayden Peak Lodge were sold
three years ago prior to construction. A rare offering, Unit 207 has
become available as a resale.
Upon entering #207, you’ll be struck by the crisp and contemporary
design with themes thoughtfully executed in each room and in every
detail. Warm, dark hues of walnut and slate are complemented by the
linen hues of the walls and in the sandstone hearth. Brushed stainless
accents throughout the condominium add subtle shine and continuity.
The entry area is defined by multi-colored, rough-hewn slate tile
flooring and a curved Lucente ceiling light fixture in clear and frosted
glass. A single-doored coat closet to the right of the front door awaits
coats, jackets, boots and mittens.
The laundry closet and guest bath are also to the right of the entry.
Immediately to the left, the tile flooring of the entry flows into the
kitchen.
The kitchen is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Light
sandstone-colored granite countertops and flat paneled, walnut cabinetry
are accented by a rough-hewn slate tile backsplash and rippled glass
inset panels in the cabinet doors. Brushed chrome “bar pull” hardware
finishes the sleek look.
Flexible task lighting includes recessed ceiling fixtures and
under-cabinet florescent fixtures.
High-end GE Monogram appliances include a dishwasher, glass-fronted wine
cooler with interior light, four-burner gas stovetop and oven, and
side-by-side refrigerator with in-door ice maker. A GE Profile microwave
is mounted above the stove top. In addition, the kitchen hosts a full
complement of countertop appliances—coffee maker, toaster, blender, and
more.
A small lock-off closet in the kitchen can be used as a pantry or as
owner storage.
Standing at the deep, double basin stainless Elka kitchen sink—with Jado
pull-spray faucet—you’ll look out over a raised bar countertop, past the
dining and living areas, to the downvalley views through the large
living room picture windows.
The bar area has two dark-stained wood barstools (with ample room for
seating four) under three pendant halogen fixtures. The bar is fronted
with raised walnut panels.
The main living areas are floored with striped Berber carpeting in tones
of mahogany and tan.
The dining area features a striking table with a three-inch thick timber
surface sanded smooth on top and left natural on the sides. Dark wood
chairs with upholstered seats provide seating for six under a
linen-textured pendant light fixture.
The living room is welcoming yet utilitarian. Stunning views from the
large picture windows are rivaled by the allure of the Heatilator
gas-log fireplace.
The windows, complete with wood blinds, frame views to the northwest
that include Wildcat Ridge and the Brush Creek Valley.
The fireplace anchors the living room, literally and aesthetically.
Raised wood panels conceal cabinets which in turn conceal an LG
flatscreen television. The hearth and mantle are dry-stacked sandstone
block. A halogen spotlight is directed to highlight art pieces on the
mantle, and shelves built into the side of the hearth provide room for a
written, video, or music library.
The room provides a gathering space with a cozy sofa (which converts to
a queen-size bed) and a handsome wood-framed leather chair. A
contemporary end table is topped with a chrome-base lamp. A compact Sony
stereo system fills the room with sound.
Accessed through a glass-paneled door at the left of the fireplace, the
sheltered balcony is located directly above the main entrance to the
Treehouse Kid’s Adventure Center.
The spacious master suite features large windows providing soft natural
light and northwest views to Wildcat Ridge. When you tire of the view—if
ever—a wall-mounted flat screen LG television waits at the ready.
The king-size bed is sumptuous with pillows and bedding in tan and
beige. A low and wide upholstered chair sits near the window.
A dark-stained contemporary headboard matches the two-drawer dresser and
night stands. Round, brushed chrome drawer pulls in turn match the
brushed chrome bases on the table lamps. Pendant art glass light
fixtures are mounted on the wall at either side of the bed.
A double-doored closet with his-and-hers shelving system resides just
outside the door of the master bath.
Compact yet luxurious, the master bath continues the home’s design
themes. Dark slate tile floors are balanced by the lighter tile in the
tub and shower, and the sandstone countertops. Cobblestone accents—in
vertical lines behind the tub, on the shower floor, and beneath the
wall-mounted vanity cabinet add texture and interest.
The double vanity has two Caroma oval vessel sinks with Jado wall-mount
fixtures. Above each sink, wood frame mirrors are flanked by modern
vanity sconces in chrome and frosted glass. The dark wood vanity has
drawers and open shelving and is lit underneath to illuminate the
cobblestones below.
The Porcher whirlpool tub and the glass-walled, oversized shower (with
built-in bench) also feature Jado fixtures.
The second bedroom, located opposite the master across the living room,
also has large windows overlooking the balcony and highlighting stellar
northwest views. The room includes a queen-size bed and wood furniture
exactly like that in the master as well as an identical LG wall-mount
flat screen television. The double-doored closet has the same
his-and-hers shelving system.
The spacious guest bath, located off the entry, has the same slate tile
as the entry tastefully paired with a dark marble vanity countertop. The
vanity offers a square undermounted sink with modern Jado fixtures.
Above the wood-framed mirror, a curved piece of frosted glass conceals
the subtle vanity lighting.
A full-size, glassed-in shower and built-in bench is finished in 12-inch
tan tile with small botanical inset tiles.
The laundry closet—featuring a GE full-size, front-loading, stacked
washer dryer—resides behind a shuttered door and is also accessed from
the entry area.
