ASPEN
LOOK CLOSELY, and you see the spirit and passion Aspen at
every turn. The eight-year old hiking the Bowl with his dad for the
first time. The gallery owner who launches into an impassioned,
impromptu chat about his latest discovery. The ski patrolman who'll
help se up a family picnic at the sunny tables above the Tourtelotte
Park ski run. The cast members at the Crystal Palace, serving up
your dinner, then hopping onstage to offer razor-sharp musical
satire.
This place in the high mountains has deep roots and a rich
history and on-going debates. (Oh, do we have debates.) There's a
perfect bookstore on Main Street. Not one but two hardware stores. A
music shop where you can try out an old Martin guitar. After a few
days in Aspen, it hits you. This is a real town. And you want to be
part of it. Welcome. |
